How does it work?
Our service goal is to be around 50% of the cost of a new blade. This obviously depends on how much you spend on a blade, but let’s use a Diablo brand blade that everyone is familiar with, and is a budget-friendly blade for this example. A 10” x 80-tooth blade at the big box store (and our shop) is $49.97, and the sharpening cost is $28, putting it at 56% the cost of a new blade. You can sharpen these blades between 5-7 times if taken care of properly.
Using a higher-end Freud blade that is also 10” x 80-tooth, you can spend upwards of $180 on that blade, but the sharpening cost remains the same, putting that at just 15% of the cost of a new blade.
Our machines are the same that are used to manufacture blades around the world, so we expect you to be just as happy with a serviced blade as you would with a new one!
